""At 05:49 Moscow time the motor vessel “Siberin-1”, the flag of the Russian Federation, ran aground when leaving the Southern region of the port of Kavkaz. Damage to the hull is not observed. There is no threat to shipping” - said the source.

The source clarified that the vessel deviated from fairway of the approach channel at 90 m, which was the cause of the incident. On board the vessel is 4,300 tons of coal.

Currently, the port authorities are addressing the issue of the allocation of tugs and the removal of the vessel from the ground.
