Typhoon Maysak, raging in the Primorsky Territory, claimed the lives of three people. The number of victims increased when the storm threw the floating crane Chernomorets-34 into the Ussuri Bay.
The crane was thrown away at about 23:25 (16:25 MSK) on Thursday in Teplyakovsky Bay, the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office reports.
“Currently, two dead have been found, seven people were not injured, the rescue operation continues, there is no threat of the ship sinking and environmental pollution”, - the supervisory authority said.
The floating crane belongs to PJSC Slavyansk Shipyard. Rescuers arrived at the scene, but their help was not required.

In the seaside capital, the hurricane peaked at 40 m/s, gusts of 43 m/s were periodically recorded.Currently, the typhoon has lost its strength and went to the north of China.
